A new doll show is in town & exciting news!
It has always been a bucket list wish of mine to sell my artwork; especially at a large convention or event. I'm happy to report that I am one step closer to my dream. When I made this wish, I never thought that the art I'd sell would be this type of painting. Back-to-back reborn doll adoptions isn't usually something I do, but here I am with Baby #3 in less than 60 days! Who is this girl? As much as I adore painting for myself and seeing another dream baby come to life, I still love adopting reborn dolls from other artists. I feel my preference in dolls I adopt has changed. Now, when I'm browsing for a new addition, I look for dolls that are painted in a style that I hope to achieve, that have features I haven't quite mastered yet and have a look that I'd like to learn from.
